A Summary of our Beliefs
A belief that whatever the Bible says is so,
specifically as it relates to the nature of man, his sinful condition and his need of
repentance and redemption and reconciliation to God.
Acceptance of the Bible as the only standard of
truth by which the believer is judged and by which he judges all things.
An affirmation of the foundational truths of the
historical Christian faith:
The doctrine of the Trinity
The incarnation, virgin birth, substitutionary
atonement, bodily resurrection, ascension into Heaven and Second Coming of the Lord Jesus
Christ.
The new birth through the regeneration of the Holy
Spirit
The resurrection of the saints to life eternal
The resurrection of the ungodly to final judgment
and eternal death
The fellowship of the saints who are the body of
Christ
The practice of fidelity to that Faith,
endeavoring to preach it to every person in the world
A necessity to expose and separate from all
ecclesiastical denial of that faith, or compromise with error, or apostasy from the Truth
Scriptural mandate to earnestly contend for the
Faith once delivered.
