Men For Missions 2008 The 2008 MFM Team is headed once again by Wayne and Jane Camfield. This is the 14th team that they have brought over to help us! Coming with them are veteran Carriacou Team members Eddie Baucom, Steve Ross, Mr. & Mrs. Ray McDowell, Herman and Harold. Other team members include Mr. & Mrs. Wallace and their son, Andrew; Reggie, Albert and Scott. Their object is to finish the basement apartment of the Mission house except for the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. There is electrical wiring to do (which involves cutting the wall to allow room for conduits to be hidden), painting both primer and finish coats on all the walls, hanging the floating ceiling and installing a bathroom exhaust fan. Other projects include painting the railing on the upper floors and driveway and possibly helping Brother Richard (HLW Staff member) prepare the decking for the floor of his house not far from the Mission house. They arrived safely in Carriacou on January 9 by way of the Osprey. A near glassy calm sea made for a very nice ride from Grenada. After finishing all they could do in the basement and other smaller projects around the mission house, they have moved their attention to helping Brother Richard (HLW Staff member) with the preparations to pour the floor of his house. Enjoy these pictures of them in action! Thank you, Team, for coming to help us! |
