Week 3

Monday

Team 2 (some of them) down early on the site to get set up

The second team arrived safely and are already laying block!

Scaffolding is being set up so block can be laid right to the "ring beam."

Tuesday

Both ends up to the "ring beam!"

It's a full time job for several fellows just to keep block and mortar
flowing to the 4 - 5 block layers working all at once!

Thursday

Thursday started off with rain... lots of it...
Louis, Frank & Eric covering the block to keep them dry

Friday

Here is the "Week3" Team (+Mervin)
Mervin, Robert, John, Frank, Kevin, Loius, Brian, Herman, Eric, Ray, Joe & Doug
(Mervin, on the left, is the local contractor who put in the foundation.
He happened by for a look while we were taking the picture so we asked him to join in.)

Kitchen staff this week (no picture yet) has been
Barbara, Heather, Amiee & Sarah

All four exterior walls finished, concrete filled columns included!

Praise the Lord!

Several of the men on this team leave in the morning (Saturday) to return home. 
Several more will join us on Sunday.
